Reception into the Church on Holy Saturday
The RCIA (Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults) calls for the whole parish community to join in the process of welcoming new adult members into the fullness of our Church. Those entering this process are called to join in a spiritual journey that fosters deepening their relationship with Jesus and His Church. This is done by providing time to reflect on the Sunday Scriptures and our Catholic faith tradition, discover the practices and customs of our Church and to experience our parish community.
Who is it for:
* Adults who have never been baptized.
*Adults who have been baptized in another Christian tradtion and now wish to become Catholics
*Adults who were baptized Catholic but have not received their First Communion and Confirmation
For youth, third grade and above) we offer the RCIA in a youth version. This meets at a seperate time please contact Bill Smith for more information.
Monthly gatherings for those inquiring about the RCIA are held on Sundays throughout the year. The group begins meeting weekly in September. The full calendar and a registration form can be downloaded from the forms.
