The parish has gathered in worship on these grounds since the town was founded in 1845. A black Walnut Church was dedicated in 1849. By 1881 a stone church replaced it and expansions in 1963 and 2000 has brought us to the current Church seen at right with the attached Parish Center to the left of the Church.
.
The Parish Center is contains our Adoration Chapel, Hall, are Religious Articles Shop, and Family Room on the First Floor and the Parish Offices, Church Library, Choir Room, and several conference rooms and classrooms. The many Adult groups-RCIA, Bible Study, ACTS meetings, as well as the High School and Middle School classes also use these facilities.
The parish receptionist room is located on the First Floor off the main hallway. The Elevator and stairs to the second floor offices and classrooms are located to the left of this entrance.
The St. Joseph Center and the Good Shepherd Center serve as multi- purpose use for the entire parish, providing classroom, meeting and resource areas in addtion to a meeting hall/ cafeteria for the school and youth of the parish. The St. Joseph Center serves also for meeting of ministries and community organizations.
Father Tony our pastor, resides at the rectory.
The central activity of our parish is the celebration of the Eucharist. Over 4000 parishioners gather for the Sunday services each week and daily attendance averages over 200
.

Our Adoration Chapel is open 24/7 and year round, except for the period from midnight Holy Thursday though Good Friday and Holy Saturday until we celebrate the Lord's resurrection at the Easter Vigil Service. The Eucharist is removed from all Catholic Churches during this time in remembrance of Jesus' passion and death. Located in the Parish Center right by where it and the Church connect. Anyone can drop in to pray before the Eucharist or can sign up to for an hour shift , see the liturgy webpage for
prayer groups.
.
The Grotto has been a place of prayer and reflection at the Church for nearly 90 years. The Circle of Mary gathers here to pray the rosary each Thursday evening and many parishioners stop by for a peaceful prayer environment.

The Gathering area is located where the
Church and Parish Center join together.
Our Archives group puts up a exhibit in
the display case each month and
various parish groups share pictures
and information of current activities in
the other half of the case. This is also
where many of the bake sales, fundraisers and other activities are held following
the masses.
The Family Room is located in next to the Gathering area. small parish gatherings such as Baptism preparation classes, Day Retreats, prayer breakfasts, Bible Study groups all use this room for their sessions.
St. Mary's Hall provides the perfect facility for wedding, anniversary and other types of large receptions and gatherings with it seating capacity of 400 persons.
