Peter & Paul School promotes reinforcement of elevated educational benchmarks by setting high standards for quality for homework, task completion, and mastery of skills, which can all be determined by applying frequent assessments of student learning and instructional and program effectiveness. Coupled with those assessments is open and effective parent-teacher collaboration, all of which ensures student success. High achievement scores attest to our students' strong intellectual growth. Self-discipline, daily teaching of religion, sacramental preparation, and integration of Christ’s teachings and values are all interwoven into all aspects of the curriculum. Students attend Mass every Friday, with a liturgy designed specifically for them. Teachers also guide the students in planning and presenting the liturgy, where students serve in such roles as lector, commentator, and more as they learn the role of laity in our world. In addition to weekly Mass, students also attend Mass, as a body, on Holy Days of Obligation. Each day begins and ends with prayer, which binds the students to the Word every day. The degreed, professional staff of Sts. Peter & Paul is highly motivated and cares deeply about each student. They ensure that students have a well-organized, positive, safe learning environment. Their efforts are supported by a strong administrative staff and dedicated teaching assistants. Sts. Peter & Paul serves students from pre-kindergarten (age 3) through eighth grade. Sts. Peter & Paul is open to all children, regardless of gender, ethnicity, or religious denomination. Our school grounds comprise three buildings:- The main building houses the majority of our classrooms, the Technology Lab, and the athletic facilities.
- The St. Joseph Center is one of our newer facilities and houses our cafeteria and Mother's Day Out program.
- The Good Shepherd Center is our administrative center, which serves as the main entrance to our school, but it also houses our new library and our music and art classrooms.
We share our campus with Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church and the parish Thrift Store.
We have an on-site cafeteria that offers several daily lunch choices. A snack bar, with milk and juice, is also available. A lunch account can be established, or students can pay daily.
In addition to a strong academic and religious base, our students participate in art, music, Spanish language, technology and physical education instruction. A strong extracurricular sports program helps build good-sportsmanship skills as well as develops a clear understand of the importance of teamwork. For those girls who choose, our Pep Squad and Pantherettes provide support for our sports program at many events, including on-campus pep rallies. In addition, we offer a Mother's Day Out program as a convenience to members of our community. It is a two-day program—either Monday and Wednesday or Tuesday and Friday. We are currently accepting applications for the Mother's Day Out program for school year 2010–11 school year.
