At Sts. Peter and Paul we strive to respond to the Church’s commission “to put people not only in touch, but also in communion and intimacy, with Jesus Christ” (#80) and “to encourage a living, explicit and fruitful profession of faith” (#66) by promoting knowledge of the faith, liturgical education, moral formation, teaching to pray, education for community life, and our missionary call. (#85-6) (from the General Directory for Catechesis) We offer a wide variety of programs to accomplish these goals. For more information on these programs click on the underlined item or menu bar to the left.

TORCH Traditions of Roman Catholic Homeschools is a Catholic national support group-our chapter serves New Braunfels and surrounding areas. Our children serve at weekly 8AM Wednesday Masses, meet for saint activities twice a month and publish their own monthly newsletter. Anyone interested in joining or learning more about home schooling can contact Patti Davis at 606-1630.
F.I.R.E. or Family-Centered Intergenerational Religious Education is a religious program which covers the main truths of the Catholic faith. FIRE is a home group, an intergenerational cluster consisting of five to eight families which meet bimonthly. FIRE is an alternative to a graded religious education program. FIRE lessons are "experiences" which involve families in learning the main truths and traditions of our faith. Families learn together in a fun filled environment with "take home" material to review. For further information please call Susan Bailey at 606-0657.
