Entrance Guidelines

Sts. Peter & Paul School is required to follow the age guidelines for School entrance set by the State of Texas:

A student must be 3 years of age on or before September 1 and “potty trained” to enter the K3 program.
A student must be age 4 on or before September 1st to enter the K4 program.
A student must be age 5 on or before September 1st to enter Kindergarten.
A student must be age 6 on or before September 1st to enter first grade.

For a child to be considered for acceptance into Sts. Peter & Paul, the following records must be submitted:

Original Birth or Baptismal certificate.
Complete immunization records must be provided prior to the students first day of class.
Student's most recent report card (grades 1-8).
Standardized test scores (grades 1-8.)
Student's Social Security number.

Entrance Tests

Students in grades 2-8 may be asked to take an entrance test prior to acceptance at Sts. Peter & Paul School if current testing information is not available from their prior school. Students entering Kindergarten, who have not been in a Sts. Peter & Paul School Pre-K program, take a readiness test before acceptance is granted. A $10 fee per student for entrance tests is assessed.
